Bagatelle honoured in Bray

The Seafront in Bray was filled with warmth and music as the community gathered to honour Bagatelle, and celebrate the music of the late Liam Reilly and John O’Brien, former members of Bagatelle. A commemorative bench was unveiled at the base of Bray Head, marking the lasting impact of their songwriting. Cathaoirleach Erica Doyle joined Bagatelle’s Ken Doyle for the ceremony, which was followed by a performance at the Bandstand. Smiling faces reflected on memories of Summer in Dublin and the band’s enduring catalogue. Formed in 1978, Bagatelle’s legacy continues to resonate, their songs remaining a timeless soundtrack for generations.
